Cimarron Metropolitan District

2018 Pool Season - Get Ready!

Are you ready for summer?

Candelas pools will open for the season on Memorial Day weekend! The pools at Parkview and Townview will be open from 10:00 am - 9:00 pm on Saturday, May 26th. Thereafter, please refer to the 2018 Aquatics Schedule. Please click here to view or print the schedule.

Important: Pick up your wristbands for this
summer season before the pools open!

Every person at the pool (both on the deck and in the water) must wear a wristband at all times. You must pick up your new set of wristbands for the 2018 summer season before you use the pools this summer.

Each resident (adults and children) will receive their own reusable wristband for use throughout the summer season. Each family will also receive a set of guest wristbands to be used throughout the season, including one reusable guest wristband and 20 single-use guest wristbands.

Pick up your wristbands any time between now and May 26th during our regular service center hours:

Frequently Asked Questions

Why wristbands? The District Board and CCMC are committed to managing and maintaining the quality and enjoyment of the Candelas community facilities and amenities. The wristband program is intended to ensure appropriate use of the facilities by those who live within the neighborhood. As such, the wristband policy will be enforced by the lifeguards, pool monitors, and District staff. We thank you in advance for your participation in maintaining the value of ownership within the community!

I got my wristbands last summer. Why do I need new wristbands? We are launching a brand-new community database and portal this year! In order to ensure that we have correct information for all residents, including what wristbands have been provided to your family, we are starting fresh this year. You will receive a new set of reusable wristbands this summer (with new colors!), and then you will keep those wristbands moving forward into future pool seasons. Next summer, you will continue to use the wristbands you receive this year, though you will be provided a new set of 20 single-use guest wristbands at the start of every pool season.

Does everyone in my family need to come pick up their wristbands? Only one family member needs to come to our service center to pick up the wristbands. We will provide wristbands for the whole family all at once.

What do I need to bring when I pick up my wristbands? Nothing specific – just be sure to come when you have enough time to complete the entire pick-up process. We already have your membership form on file, so we will ask you to verify that all of your information is still correct. We will ask you to sign a couple of (digital) forms, and we will also set you up with access to our new community portal.

What happens if I don’t pick up my wristbands before May 26th? No worries! We can provide you with your 2018 pool wristbands during our regular service center hours all throughout the summer. Just be sure you pick them up before the first time you want to use the pools. If you don’t have your wristbands, you won’t be able to access the pool deck until you pick them up.
