Trunk or Treat Details

Thank you for participating in this year’s Trunk or Treat event at Candelas! Just as a reminder, following are the event details:

Candelas Trunk or Treat
Saturday, October 28th
3:00 – 5:00 pm
Townview Swim & Fitness Club
9371 McIntyre Street

We have just a few expectations for our trunk hosts, so please review the following before the event this weekend:

- Most importantly, we want you to decorate your trunk or the back of your vehicle! The best trunks typically follow a theme, and are made even better when your costume matches your theme. Please try to avoid anything overly scary or gory, as we’ll have lots of young kids at the event. If you need some ideas, click here to check out a whole collection that was put together by another resident. We don’t expect anything crazy, and you can go as simple or as extravagant as you wish. With that being said, if you do want to go all-out, prizes will be given out for the best-decorated trunks!

- Please bring your own candy or small treats to hand out during the event. You may even consider giving out non-candy treats, like bubbles or other small prizes. It’s always hard to estimate how many participants we’ll have, but it’s safe to expect at least 100 trick-or-treaters to visit your trunk. Since the event is two hours long, you may also want to bring a lawn chair so that you can sit next to your car.

- You can arrive at the parking lot to start setting up as early as 2:00 pm. Even if you don’t have much to set up, please plan to arrive no later than 2:45 so that cars aren’t moving around when kids start to arrive. Please also plan to stay parked until at least 5:00 pm for safety reasons.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask! We can’t wait to see what you bring!
