In May 2022, two seats will open on the Vauxmont Metro District Board of Directors.  Any property owner or individual residing within the community and who is a registered voter in the State of Colorado is eligible to run for election to one of these two seats.  Anyone eligible, who is passionate about this community, is invited and encouraged to run for one of these seats.  You will be joining your fellow residents in working to efficiently and effectively run our community, creating positive change and connectedness.  Self-Nomination and Acceptance Forms are due to our Designated Election Official by February 25, 2022. The term commitment is for three (3) years, from May 2022 through May 2025.  The election will be held via mail ballot.  More information on the process for mail ballot elections will be coming soon.

 

Current resident Board members will be hosting two Q&A work sessions (Jan. 27th & Feb 15th), both in-person and online.  The purpose of the work sessions is to provide insight into the role of a Board member, both from a governance perspective and a community service perspective; as well as to provide an opportunity for interested parties to get more information on the time commitment.
